Hand Hollow Conservation Area

This beautiful 433 acre property, owned by the Columbia Land conservancy (CLC), boasts a 23 acre lake, two large ponds, streams, woodland, meadows, wetlands, hiking trails, fishing, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, and great bird watching (including great blue herons).

Hand Hollow State Forest

New York State recently acquired and named a 600 acre area adjoining Hand Hollow Conservation Area.  The new State Forest will feature recreational activities year round.
